Colden Common Methodist Church

We are a small, vibrant church in a lively community, immersed in local activities and aim to contribute to the richness of our locality by our outreach activities. We warmly welcome people who are seeking to find out more of the Christian faith and offer small discussion groups where we support and encourage each other and where we can discuss the relevance of the Bible in our lives. We also share some worship and social events with Holy Trinity (the local Anglican Church).

Worship

We meet at 10.30am each Sunday, with the 4th Sunday being All Age Worship. In addition for children we offer Messy Church on the last Thursday of the month from 3.30-5.30pm where parent/carer and child explore the Christian faith through many resources. On the evening of the 4th Sunday at 6.30 we hold a short reflective service. Our Communion Service is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10.30.

Other Activities

Cubs, Brownies and Pre-school meet on our premesis.

We hold a weekly coffee morning at the Community centre, Tuesdays from 9.45 - 12.00.

Friday lunch meets on the 1st Friday of the month at the church from 1.00 -2.00pm. We share a simple bread and cheese meal whilst we listen to a speaker talk on an aspect of their life which has been influenced by their faith.
